Why I chose Homeopathy

I originally started Homeopathy because I liked the science behind the medicine. It also seemed to fit into my lifestyle, so for many years now I have used homeopathy to treat my family.

I didn’t like the fact that conventionally I was using medication that in the long term may have given me more problems, so I decided to go down the Homeopathy route and haven’t looked back since.

These are the reasons I chose homeopathy:

  • Homeopathy has no side effects and cannot be overdosed on;
  • It is something that anyone can learn to use at home to treat family with acute illness;
  • Homeopathy just doesn’t treat humans; livestock and pets will also benefit with homeopathy;

Argent Nit is derived from a compound of silver called silver nitrate and was used to cauterise wounds.

Antimonium Tartaricum  (“Ant Tart”)

Key uses

Ant Tart is used to treat patients who are suffering with bronchitis. Symptoms include a rattling and wheezing cough and a build up of mucus in the chest. They may have episodes of coughing, together with shallow breathing that tends to alternate.

Is derived from the red onion family and is primarily used for those suffering from headaches; earaches; colds; tickly coughs and hay fever.

Key uses

Allium cepa is used for those suffering with headaches, or those children who suffer with earaches, with a sharp pain in the ear. The patient will use this remedy for a cold, which stems from cold wet weather, with symptoms ranging from streaming eyes and nose, and/or a congested nose.
