Changing our thinking
14 Jan
I have always agreed with the principles that govern the Universal Laws, so the thought that ‘like attracts like’ and ‘what goes around comes around’ resonates with my thinking greatly.
Universal laws are the basic principles that rule every aspect of the universe and are the ways by which our world and the whole cosmos works, so that when we begin to focus on positive thoughts, we will bring positive results into our life; in the same way as when we begin to focus on negative thoughts we will bring negative results back into our life.
Unfortunately most of the time the majority of us will go through our lives constantly worrying, whilst we continue to focus on those worries with no let up. As a child I struggled with worries so I can completely resonate… but I know that as we begin to understand the universe and its laws, we will begin to understand how we can change and perceive our lives differently so that we solve our problems with ease without the need for worry.
It’s a cycle, but whilst we focus on our worries we will only create more of those worries. When we look to the universe for answers we will slowly begin to understand why things happen the way they do and what lessons there are for us to learn. The answers are out there and we have to consciously be aware they’re there, so that we can use and act on them.
With answers we will instinctively know how to deal with our worries. The rest will come with experience when we’ve learned everything there is to know about all the universal laws and how they work. This is my life.

I totally agree with your sentiments here.
Thanks Lisa.
My father worries about everything. I am the opposite, I do not panic till there is reason to panic. I just go with the flow.
I think part of my father’s problem is age related. Older people tend to worry more. Just an observation. Plus they do not have as much to occupy their minds.
Thanks Randy. I understand your sentiments, but from my own observations I believe that a worrier is a worrier, they just worry more the older they get. I do agree with you though that older people if they’re on their own for whatever reason do have less to occupy their minds, so they will have worry tendencies.
I don’t worry about things, I deal with things so my issue never gets to that stage. Being pro-active helps, but it’s also a perception thing, if we’re positive we’ll work things through with positive results.
Good that you deal with things, but you are a go getter and a doer.
Thanks Randy. I believe it is far better to deal with our issues, that way we don’t harbour problems or resentments, however we choose to deal with our issues.
I try to believe that ‘what goes around comes around,’ but at times this doesn’t really help when you are looking for answers in the here and now.
I guess it is very helpful if can believe in the universe sorting things out and not worrying too much.
I agree it can be difficult to believe in the Universal Laws when you want answers now, but the whole idea is that you put your trust in the universe its magic as and when it does.
We don’t always have the answers we need in other areas of our lives, so I see this as being no different, but I am comforted by the fact that I know the universe will take care of things when the time is right.
I feel better with what I deal with because of my spiritual beliefs. They do help.
