Changing our thinking

I have always agreed with the principles that govern the ‘universal laws,’ so the thought that ‘like attracts like’ and ‘what goes around comes around’ resonates and are my beliefs too.

Universal Laws are the basic principles that rule every aspect of the universe and are the ways by which our world and the whole cosmos works, so that when we begin to focus on positive thoughts, we will bring positive results back, in the same way when we begin to focus on negative thoughts, we bring negative thoughts back.

Unfortunately, we may worry from time to time and as we continue to focus on those worries, those worries will seem bigger. As a child I primarily struggled with bad thoughts, but that what I was beginning to chant was helping me ward off any bad spirits, taking those bad thoughts away.

I understand now how the universe works and believe that as we learn more about the universe, we will start to change and perceive our lives differently, around bad thoughts, concerns and worries.

We must consciously be aware they’re there so that we can understand and act on them. Changing any type of thinking comes with experience too.

  1. My father worries about everything. I am the opposite, I do not panic till there is reason to panic. I just go with the flow.

I think part of my father’s problem is age related. Older people tend to worry more. Just an observation. Plus they do not have as much to occupy their minds.

    1. Thanks Randy. I understand your sentiments, but from my own observations I believe that a worrier is a worrier, they just worry more the older they get. I do agree with you though that older people if they’re on their own for whatever reason do have less to occupy their minds, so they will have worry tendencies.

I don’t worry about things, I deal with things so my issue never gets to that stage. Being pro-active helps, but it’s also a perception thing, if we’re positive we’ll work things through with positive results.

        1. Thanks Randy. I believe it is far better to deal with our issues, that way we don’t harbour problems or resentments, however we choose to deal with our issues.

  2. I try to believe that ‘what goes around comes around,’ but at times this doesn’t really help when you are looking for answers in the here and now.

I guess it is very helpful if can believe in the universe sorting things out and not worrying too much.

    1. I agree it can be difficult to believe in the Universal Laws when you want answers now, but the whole idea is that you put your trust in the universe its magic as and when it does.

We don’t always have the answers we need in other areas of our lives, so I see this as being no different, but I am comforted by the fact that I know the universe will take care of things when the time is right.

I feel better with what I deal with because of my spiritual beliefs. They do help.
