  1. While money does make the world go around according to the old saying, it certainly doesn’t guarantee happiness.

Madonna got wrong. It’s not about material things, it’s about inner peace and happiness.

    1. Thank you. Yes you’re right, money will never replace inner peace and happiness and to be honest neither should it.

We must learn to look within ourselves to find inner peace and happiness.

  2. My worth was once determined on how much money I made, but I’ve always remained devoted to certain things that made me happy outside of that. I outlived those youthful times and transformed myself into a more enlighten person.

I know a few people who base their happiness on material wealth; but I’ve looked into their hearts and saw a hole so deep you can fall into it.

    1. Thanks Tim. I have found that even if we don’t determine our worth by how much money we make, other people will usually do it for us. Your response is absolutely spot on.

I also know a few people who base their happiness on material wealth and have found the same thing, although I’m not sure how many people will admit what you and I believe to be true.

As they say, money is the ‘route of all evil’ and I believe that quote to be absolutely true.

  3. Even though money does help us, it doesn’t guarantee happiness.

There are people who have a lot of money, but are not happy with what they have and they are always trying to find ways to increase their fortune that they don’t really get to enjoy life. I think money brings us more happiness when we use it to help others.

    1. Thanks Maria. However small our fortune I also believe helping others does bring us the most happiness, not to mention satisfaction when we’ve done a good deed. I couldn’t agree more.
