Something inspirational:

“Never judge a work of art by its defects.”

This quote can be applied on how people tend to focus on people’s differences and make judgments on them. They might miss out on getting to know a great individual because of this.

We all have our own defects; it’s part of being human.

Thanks Maria. Yes, you’re absolutely right. I have nothing more that I feel I need to add. Your response says it all.

We are fundamentally defective and that’s what makes us, us. So to me if a work of art has defects that’s a good thing.

There is no such thing as perfect after all.

I suppose I’m lucky in a way, because I know I’m not perfect because I was born with Cerebral Palsy and that’s helped me see that I’m not and I’m okay with it.

What is perfect anyway? How does one define being perfect? Even if we could be perfect, we’d spend too much time trying to be perfect and would eventually become disillusioned.

I believe the human condition is completely flawed, but there are those who believe they’re perfect.

Chasing perfection means we’ll always be behind it. But an artist falls in love with defects and the average perfectionist is rarely in love with anything.

Yes, I totally agree. I’ve nothing more that I need to add. Your response says it all. Thanks Tim.
