  1. Agree! I think it’s a lifelong practice to keep us true to ourselves, for me any way.

It’s so easy to get caught up in every one else or what the “right” things are to do or think about in situations. We’re told how to think and feel about things that we tend to lose ourselves in the process.

    1. Thanks Bonnie. You’re absolutely right. You’re describing my life, until I consciously took charge and changed it. Never a truer word.

This is exactly what we do. Your first paragraph is absolutely spot on. It takes practice finding that balance.

  2. I agree with the sentiment of this quote, but aren’t we all just too busy surviving to truly ‘find ourselves?’

    1. I believe you’re right, there is truth in what you say and for some that is absolutely true. Others I’m not sure how interested they are in finding themselves, particularly if it means making difficult decisions.

  3. In a way, we’re like toothless babies, finding ourselves little by little, day by day with sores and bruises to prove it.

And still, we proceed through life as life demands, trying to comprehend who we are; certainly that goal is heavy.

    1. Thank Tim. Absolutely… and which is why I turn to the Diary to help me navigate my way through difficult times. The Diary offers gives me the full support and offers guidance and support of how exactly I need to navigate.

  4. Yes, I’m still on my trip and keeping true to who I am. What I’m really working on, is finding a niche to contribute and help others. I don’t think I have quite found that yet.

    1. Thanks Bonnie. Yes, when we keep true to who we are, I believe other things will fall into place. I also believe opportunities open when we least expect them to. When we look, we don’t always find, but something will come up when you’re not even expecting it.

It’s important to continue to keep focused on your life now with your family, with you. When the time is right something will appear and you’ll just know. It’s always a question of timing.
