  1. I guess we must forget what we regret and just move on with life; we can’t change it anyway.

How nice it would be to reach back in the past and rescue your life.

    1. Thanks Tim. I agree with you, it would help to be able to reach back and change the regrets we struggle with in our present.

Unfortunately though, it’s not something we all know how to deal with. We live with too many regrets in our lives until we either let them go or deal with them.

  2. Sound advice. There seems to be little point in looking back and regretting something that you can’t change.
Better to learn from it and move on.

I’m not so sure forgetting is always the best approach. There are things in my past I will never forget, but I’m trying to change how I perceive them and the people responsible.

    1. We all have a different approach to how we deal with things. Some will want to forget things in their past, whilst others will deal with things in their past.

The fact that you say you’re trying to change how you perceive your past and the people responsible for your past is a good thing and is to be commended.

  3. Yes, we need to forget our regrets or else we will worry needlessly about them. Just let it be part of the past and don’t dwell on the past.

    1. I agree Lisa we shouldn’t dwell on the past, particularly if we’re dwelling on the things we know we can’t change but regret the most.

I think regrets are part of life’s experiences. They’re not all bad and they don’t all harm us, but regrets do help us learn so that we go on to make better decisions for ourselves.

I tend to go with that.
