My thoughts on the Reflux diet

It’s been four days now since I started my wellness diet and I have no reflux. I feel as though I am getting my life back on track.

The idea behind the Reflux Diet is that we cut down on acidic foods that contribute to excessive acid in our diets. Excessive acid can cause an increase in symptoms if you already have reflux.

Although this diet is primarily good for those who suffer with acid reflux, it will help people who struggle with food allergies, sensitivities, IBS and digestive problems, or anyone who wants to follow a healthy diet. The book also gives you sample recipes to try out.

The more our body is in an acidic state, the more prone we are to illness. The body needs to be alkaline if we are to stay well. Too much acidity can also cause cancer. The diet is clearly and precisely written and takes you through each initial step with ease, so there is no misunderstanding on what you need to do.

Personally, although I know I’m not out of the woods yet, I do feel stronger and more in control. There’s no point dwelling. It would only hamper my efforts in moving forward to try and make myself completely well again.
