Something inspirational:
“At the end of the day, it's not about what you have or even what you've accomplished. It's about what you've done with those accomplishments. It's about who you've lifted up, who you've made better. It about what you've given back.”

I agree. Life's not about us it's about what we can do to help others. Unfortunately we live in a very selfish societal structure in the west and people forget that or choose to ignore it.
Thanks, yes this is totally true and unfortunately how I see society as a whole. Since the age of technology we seem to have become more self-absorbed. I believe it's society as a whole.
It's admirable achieving a lot of accomplishments, but it's more admirable when we make a difference in someone's life.
It can either be by helping them achieve their own accomplishments, or by offering our support in other ways.
I agree. You're absolutely right. I have nothing more that I feel I need to add. Thanks Maria.
Some people have a flagrant unapologetic disregard for humanity and the strength of Karma. The person who sells his soul for
meaningless things and takes away from life without giving to it, doesn't understand the enormity of his crime.
I feel a sense of accomplishment when I make moral deposits to life and Karma promises early withdrawals if I give from my heart.
Thanks Tim. I think you're right, there is a lot of discord in the world, with some people who may go out of their way to have a flagrant unapologetic disregard for humanity. We just have to listen to the news or pick up a newspaper to understand that.
I say this with the utmost respect, but am not sure how many people truly don't understand or just don't care. If more of us stopped to think about our lives I am sure we would behave differently or at least try to understand.
