A low day

It’s that time of year again and I’m struggling to find shoes to fit that aren’t boots. I’m not sure whether I am resigned to the fact that I have Cerebral Palsy, but it’s probably got something to do with this time of year again.

I begin to struggle with people who don’t know me, who don’t understand my circumstances, staring at me or quietly making their own judgments as they walk past me.

The winter months are much easier in that respect. It’s been a bit of a down day, but I am determined to concentrate on something other than Cerebral Palsy tomorrow.

  1. I haven’t bought shoes of any kind in a while. I tend to wear the same shoes for a long time.

I have several pairs but I have to make them last because we can’t afford to go out and buy new shoes, except for our son who of course is growing and needs new shoes that will fit his braces.

Sorry you’re having a hard time with it. I understand how difficult it is for you. I hope you have a better day today.xxx

    1. Thanks Lisa. I’ve scoured my wardrobe this morning, looking for things that will fit the weather that won’t look too out of place and think I’ve succeeded. Feeling better this morning.
