I have always cared, cared about those who didn’t care about me, because they didn’t care about themselves. I tip toed through life being a pleasing child, because I was looking for acceptance, and didn’t want to rock the boat.
We will go through life, behaving in a way that ties in to our other people’s lives. Our actions are moulded by how we think others will perceive us and that stops us from living our lives. We care too much about what others think.
Living your life by caring what other people think, eventually becomes exhausting. Of course, it is okay to care, but care about those who care about you. Stop living up to other people’s expectations. People will always judge and have an opinion, no matter what you do.
Instead, simplify your life. Live by your own values and how you choose to live, because that will dictate who you allow in your life and who you need to let go of. Ignore those people who continue to judge and comment.
People who don’t judge or pass an opinion unless you ask for one, are the people who will be there for you during your worst times, they are the people you should choose to focus on.
