  1. I believe that every book contains an element of the author’s soul and the souls of the reader.

Yours is one of those books which has an energy to it, which you can feel when you start reading it. It is the sort of book which once started, you can’t put back on the shelf, or in a cupboard but have to leave it out.

It has an essence about it which is your imprint. Your honesty and openness in a world where we’re often closed off, is to be admired. Considering what happened to you, you are also gracious. I love the book.

    1. Thank you. ‘Your honesty and openness in a world where we’re often closed off, is to be admired.’ – yes, as a small child I was the same, although talking about things wasn’t an option.

Perhaps more of us need to be open about why someone chooses to do something. My book isn’t getting my story out there in a way that trips others up, it’s about bringing understanding on my symptoms and experiences around a disability I didn’t know I had.

I could and would never understand myself without piecing my life together. Reading any non-fiction book, we learn a lot from people’s experiences.

I have always worn my heart on my sleeve. My soul is contained on every page, but I’ve done it in a non-judgmental, and blameless way.

  2. Well, your book definitely has a lot of your soul in it. I have been trying to read it when I can, but there is definitely a lot of information in there to digest.

I have had a lot to think about lately, concerning my own future and what I can do to make the best of it. There are so many things that I would love to do, maybe it would have been possible if I had started when I was young, but things just didn’t work out that way as they didn’t for you either.

I’m pretty sure it was meant for us to connect with each other. We have helped each other out, I hope that continues into our future.

    1. Thanks Randy. Yes, there is a lot of information to digest even for me! It’s the kind of book you pick up, read and put down and go back to.

Apart from my story in the beginning of the book and my thoughts at the end of the book, you can pick up from any chapter in the book. You’ll get through it. I’m just pleased you have it.

And you’re no age. You have to remember, I was 46 when I started writing and started my website. Whilst we’re breathing, and we’re vertical I believe we all have time.

  3. The soul is what helps you picture your thoughts into words. It’s a special place of experiences and where dreams turn into reality.

    You are living that dream.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, it’s been a difficult journey getting to this place. It’s a place that’s comfortable… it is my reality.

If I could feel, it’s something I would have dared to dream about, and you’re right being here, I would be living that dream.

With brain damage and impaired emotions to deal with, I’m grateful for the friends and the reality.
