A Charlie Cook quote

Something inspirational:

“Your deepest roots are in nature. No matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of life you lead, you remain irrevocably linked with the rest of creation.”

  1. Philosophers have long argued humans and nature are inextricably linked and yet we have failed to understand our place in nature.

Instead, we are intent on abusing our planet, as opposed to respecting it. Our continued, unsustainable greed and exploitation of nature will only end one way and it won’t be pretty.

  2. Thanks. You’re right… I am happy to leave your response with you. I would just add, it’s important we think about that and change.

  3. Consider for a moment what is actually wrong with us. Once we figure that out we may be able to save our planet and its inhabitants.

Perhaps we need to go back to our origin to ascertain why we’re so inconsiderate to the rest of creation. Why not, we analyze and dissect everything else.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, there are so many ways you could answer. We need to be more spiritual than earthly and I think that’s our biggest problem.

Things mean more to us than people. We want what we don’t have and are jealous when other people have what we think we should have, or deserve.

Then we’re not satisfied with what we have, we want more. We must pull back and search our souls and change, because without doing that we’re all heading for an uncertain future.
