  1. How true is this? Jealousy is one of our many basic failings.

    We should just be happy that someone else achieves success rather than wishing it was us and then hating that person for it.

    1. Thanks, yes sadly, jealousy is rife, in families; the work place and communities.

      I agree with you that we should be happy for others’ success, rather than wishing it was us. If we are wishing it is us, then perhaps it’s up to us to do something about it, instead of making others feel uncomfortable.

  2. Agreed. Even people who are in need of financial help are scoffed upon. It’s absolutely sad and makes no sense.

    I’ve seen people become enemies in the work place, because one makes more money than the other. It should be an inspiration instead, never a competition.

      Why can’t we just accept people for who they are? We’d struggle less and be more accepting if we we’re able to just let people be. Never a truer word.
