  1. I have no time or patience for the many fakes I deal with day in day out and have over time, learnt to give them a wide berth. My sanity depends on it.

    1. Thank you. Yes, what you describe isn’t something any of us should have to deal with in the 21st century. We shouldn’t have to avoid anyone.

Instead, we should all be working together to support and encourage one other.

    2. Brad’s comment is spot on. We will pay a hefty price dealing with the fakes for too long, as mental illness and egotism may soon follow.

Ilana, this site always has candor for your readers to enjoy.

      1. Thanks Tim. I am turning to Covid-19 here, because it is shining a spotlight on each of us right now. As the world continues to struggle to contain the virus, we’re struggling also.

The mirror that stares back at us, is revealing things in us that we weren’t paying attention to. That said, we can all do and be better. We can pull back and come through stronger and be more robust.

Turning to your point about candor. It is because I write from a universal standpoint that I hone in on universal truths. Universal truths apply to all of us, wherever we live and whatever our circumstances.

I have always used candor, I have always been open and transparent. I work and write with truth and sincerity.
