A Richelle Goodrich quote

Something inspirational:

“Many times what we perceive as an error or failure is actually a gift. And eventually we find that lessons learned from that discouraging experience prove to be of great worth.”

  1. I couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately we are measured by our successes, which become a goal in their own right, success for the sake of success whereas, I see failure as a positive.

It is a lesson on our path to learning about what not to what to do, or how to change things which is just as important as learning what to.

    1. Thanks. Yes, unless you’re a success you’re a nobody is what certain people think, it is particularly true around cultured families. I don’t hone in on success. Our ability to integrate into society is success in itself.

Having been written off from an early age, I didn’t start meeting with success until I was 46. My success has come in on the back of a diagnosis I didn’t know I had.

It hasn’t changed me and perhaps that’s the point. Where we have success we are often changed. Success shouldn’t change us, it should simply empower us to be more confident and better people.

  2. It would be nice if we had the wisdom of this quote in real time. Can you imagine how advanced we would be as a civilization?

Failure can be a blessing in disguise at times.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes, failure is a necessity, because to attain consistent success, we must first learn how to fail. I honestly believe that.

Understanding failure holds the necessary pieces and helps with us learn how to our success. Failing helps us know what works and what doesn’t work.

Failure can be a blessing in disguise. I agree with you.
