  1. I’ve never really thought about the value of life. I don’t think you can put a value on it because to me it is invaluable.

    1. Thanks Lisa. I agree with you. It is difficult to put a value on life because life itself and all of our experiences are invaluable.

Life is often a measure of our experiences and it is through some of those experiences that our soul is often stirred. It could happen when we’re walking in a garden with beautiful flowers.

Anything that feeds or nourishes our soul.

  2. I kind of like that saying. It’s a bit idealistic for me, but I agree with the notion.

Unfortunately in the real world, we are often too busy keeping our heads above water to take time out to think about what really feeds our souls, but I like the notion.

    1. I know what you mean but still believe we can do both! Yes we do have busy lives, but we can still make time to do things that feed our soul.

We can even feed our souls, sitting and eating on a park bench, admiring the flowers can feed your soul. Anything that moves us. Sitting in your garden, admiring the wildlife can feed your soul, anything.

  3. I feel that life is what you make it. If you’ve had a lot of good experiences and lessons learned you will be a positive person. Though it’s hard to say that ones life is always positive, as we know there are many ups and downs in the rollercoaster we call life.

I believe that all life has value, it’s whether you choose to help others with what you’ve learned. The best things in life are free, that includes imparting wisdom on others. I hope I didn’t talk in circles just now, LOL!

    1. Thanks Maria. Yes life definitely has value and is what we make of it. It would be lovely to think we can manage both… help ourselves and help others too through what we know and what we have learned.

When we put ourselves out there in this way, I believe we feed our soul, because it not only makes us feel good about the people we’re helping, but it also makes us feel good about ourselves and it’s that, that feeds our soul.

It doesn’t have to be done in a big way though. Helping a blind person across the street can give us that feeling, anything.
