Being true to yourself is one of the hardest thing you can do. It’s much easier when we’re children as we’re not being pulled and pushed in all different directions by family and friends and by the burden of the responsibilities of adulthood.
I agree with this quote. By not being who we really are, we are creating our own unhappiness.
Thank you. Yes it is, I agree. Unless you have parents and family who support and encourage you in a way that allows for emotional and spiritual growth, you will always struggle.
Then It’s a society thing too, we’re expected to conform instead of thinking about ourselves and what we need.
