  1. I totally agree with this quote. It can even help someone the first time out.

It’s one of the few things in life that actually helps both the giver and the recipient. The more you give, the more people you touch, the deeper the feeling of happiness. Its a win win situation.

    1. Thanks Maria. As you say, ‘the more you give, the more people you touch, the deeper the feeling of happiness.’ You’re absolutely right.

Kindness has a ripple effect. In the right circumstances it can reach far and wide.

  2. It’s easy for me to tip kindness to people. Which is why I find it uncivilized when folks lack kindness. You feel them chewing on their evil sometimes.

Or maybe I’m just asking too much of the human race; probably so.

    1. Thanks Tim. You’re not asking too much of the human race. Kindness should come from the human race. It’s sad that it doesn’t. I have tried to run from people who are not kind, who are hostile and who are abusive.

It’s not easy to cut ourselves from angry and abusive people, particularly if those people are part of our family, but it is always a good idea for us to at least try to distance ourselves where we can.

And sometimes distancing ourselves brings repercussions, which is why we tend to bring people closer. That way we have the control.

We should just be kind. There is no excuse, issues or not.

  3. I agree, you give kindness out you get it back. We should all be kind to each other; but as Tim say perhaps that just asking too much in these crazy, self centred times.

    1. Sadly, it’s learned bad behaviour that needs re-learning again and issues not yet addressed or dealt with.

When we live ‘in the moment’ instead of allowing ourselves to be drawn ‘into our past’ we will become better people.

Kindness comes from being at one with ourselves. We’re sadly either working from our ego, or dealing with bad behaviour traits .

We’re not at one with ourselves when we’re working from either of those places.
