An Indian Belief

Something inspirational:

“There is an Indian belief that everyone is a house of four rooms: a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual room. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time, but unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not complete.”

  1. What a great saying!

I reckon I live in two of those rooms most of the time but I am looking for the doors into the other two… and I’m not telling which two, so don’t ask and no guessing either!!

    1. I think this quote is awesome!

I’m not sure how many of us will equate our lives in this way, that but it’s completely true when you see it in writing.

  2. Sounds like a wise plan of action for daily living.

I do tend to stay in one room most of the time and need to take care of the others too. I just have to learn how to go about it, since it’s not something I’m really used to!

    1. Randy, I think we all have to learn how to do this; not just you. We just have to know how. Experience can sometimes show us how.

  3. Very interesting. I haven’t heard this before, but it makes sense though. I think I stay in the emotional room a lot!
