“Let go of your attachment to being right, and suddenly your mind is more open. You’re able to benefit from the unique viewpoints of others, without being crippled by your own judgment.”

    1. I feel another person’s view point always helps. They can sometimes bridge the gap on our thoughts, particularly if we’re struggling to see something.

      Thanks Lisa.

    1. Is anyone always right? We would like to think we are, but in reality things are very different. We can’t know everything.

  1. I’ve never really thought of myself always being right, since I never really learned how to speak up for myself when I was right!

My parents were always right, even when I knew they were wrong and they would work to break me down until I gave in.

I usually make a joke that my mother should have worked for the CIA. I’m trying to learn that it is now OK for me to stand up for myself when I know I’m right!

    1. This is all very sad, but you’ve moved on since your early days and are doing things differently by learning to stand up for yourself when you know you have a point to make and that point is right.

We cannot change how our parents parent us, we can only change ourselves. You are doing that now Randy. I’m so pleased.
