  1. I agree with this. To have everything we need to survive and just be happy with that is great. People make themselves poor.

When they have money they’re always wanting more; so they think because they can’t afford everything they want they are poor.

    1. Thanks Lisa. Yes we will have everything and not need or want for anything when we give up the need for us to have luxuries in our life. You’re right, we make ourselves poor when we feel we need to hold on to or have worldly possessions.

It’s a different kind of thinking but I believe it works.

  2. I couldn’t agree with this statement more. Many people subscribe to this notion that people who have the most toys win.

A very rich actor once said; he’ll never know if a woman truly loved him or loved his wealth.

    1. Thanks Tim. Yes being rich has its pitfalls, but it very much depends on the person. To put wealth before anything else doesn’t say much about that person.

I would say the person with least toys win. We should be rich in our minds irrespective of how deep our pockets are.

  3. Great quote. I couldn’t agree more with this. Life’s not about having the biggest or the best or the most; it’s about our happiness and how we treat people.

There is a world of difference between having what we want and having what we need.
