From difficult times

Something inspirational:

“It may seem hard to extend our gratefulness and appreciation to the time in which we live and the challenges it presents-to financial crisis, global climate change, terrorism, wars, energy depletion, and any other disasters looming on the horizon.  It would be much easier to appreciate an era of good feeling, peace and calm stability! But difficult times are also times of growth, of new insights and opportunities, of creativity, and of emergence.”

  1. A very true saying. I firmly believe that good things can come out of bad things. Although sometimes it is difficult to understand that when times are particularly bad.

    1. Ditto. I agree with your comment. It is very difficult to see the end of the road, when the journey itself is tough. It usually comes right in the end.

  2. It can be very difficult to be positive considering the state of affairs that the world is in right no.! I grew up in crisis so in all actuality I’m not used to having a peaceful life.

I’m just trying to learn how to stay more positive and not get weighed down by all the negatives in life.

    1. I agree. I think that’s what we’re all trying to do Randy.

Everyone I speak to has the same thoughts. Waiting for the tide to change and trying to be more positive in the meantime.

  3. I agree with this post. People can find something positive despite experiencing a negative event.

I read an article last week about research regarding finding benefit/ benefit meaning and they’ve seen many events where people who find something positive to come out of a bad experience cope and rebound better then others.
