Interest and Commitment

Something inspirational:

“There’s a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstance permit. When you’re committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.”

  1. I would say that I’m trying to learn the difference between the two, so that I can move on to leading a better life.

I’ve spent the majority of my life just being interested in it, but now I’m trying to be more committed to life. It isn’t all that bad, it just has bad moments!

    1. What starts out as an interest becomes a commitment the more we stay interested; it could be a hobby, a relationship, or a new job, anything.

I’m pleased you’re trying to work things out Randy.

  2. Great saying. Not something you would normally think about, but it’s absolutely right there is a huge difference between the two.
