Life is a challenge

Something inspirational:

“Far too many of us live lives of worry, rather than lives of joy. It doesn’t have to be that way. Every life is full of challenges – some lives are given seemingly insurmountable challenges. But each of us, at every moment, has the ability to make conscious choices about the life we have been dealt. To some extent, we can make positive changes in our circumstances. To a far greater extent, we can choose to accept and adapt to our circumstances with grace and joy. Living joyfully is always a choice. May today be your day to dance lightly with life.”

  1. Life is certainly a challenge. I can remember a while ago thinking that we had few problems, compared to friends and family but that has certainly changed in recent years.

It is sometimes hard to tackle constant challenges and problems without being worn down and sometimes choices just don’t always seem available in some circumstances.

However, no matter how much is thrown my way, I have always felt that problems are relative and there are many, with many people who would swap places in the blink of any eye and I guess for me that it a positive thing.

    1. Life certainly is a challenge for me right now.

I am sure you are right, compared to what we deal with there will be others who deal with much worse, but we never equate that scenario in our own scenario at the time. We always think our problems are the worst. How can they not be?

I think the key for me is to staying strong and focused and let go of what I have no control over. Over circumstances I cannot change I let go, but of the circumstances I can change that’s what I concentrate on to try to bring a swift resolution. An open mind to new possibilities has always been an important focus too.

      Hope you feel better soon.

  2. I completely agree. Letting go and accepting circumstances we can’t change is the best thing we can do.

It’s hard, but in my opinion it’s the only thing that will give us peace and it doesn’t mean that we’re giving up.

I hope everything went okay for you yesterday.

    1. Thanks Anne, I’m fine. Thanks for asking about me.

I agree with you, sometimes letting go is what we need to do. In the long term I believe that is the way we’ll have more peace.

  3. Life can definitely be a challenge when you don’t really know how to deal with it.

I ended up growing up without any real life skills which made my life very difficult. I’m just now learning how to live my life and it’s still not very easy.

I’m hoping that I will be able to move on in my life so that it won’t be such a challenge everyday.

    1. I totally agree with you.

Life is a challenge but definitely more of a challenge when you don’t really know how to deal with it. Our parents are supposed to help us with that, but it’s not something that is afforded to all of us.

Just do what you can. Accept what you can’t do and be happy with the rest. That would be my advice and is exactly what I do.

  4. You know me. Sometimes worry is my middle name, but I do let things go after a while. I always think positive about things.

I know deep down things will work out like they are supposed to.

    1. It’s not so easy letting go of things even though we know those things usually sort themselves out. We’re all human after all!

Being positive is an important element of us being able to focus. If we’re focused we’re more likely to be able to sort our problems out sooner. That’s the idea in the longer term!

  5. Life will always be a challenge, if it wasn’t would we really be living?

I agree that the true challenge is learning how to cope with the difficulties and the rewards as they come and realizing that some challenges are a reward in disguise. What an interesting topic.

Life is to be lived and all of the responses reflect people that have great living skills. I am happy to have read all of the input, it helped this guy today. Thank you.

    1. Thank you. I believe we would! For me living without having to deal with our challenges would mean a life with peace, tranquility and harmony in it. If all of us lived with those attributes in our life, just think how easy life could be.

I agree that challenges reflect who we become, but with peace in our lives we will become less stressed and more centered around obtaining the life we want rather than the life we have to work at through all of our challenges.

It would be like living in paradise, literally.
