Omega 3 supplements

A passing thought:

Did you know that studies show that if you take regular Omega 3 supplements you will be better able to cope with stressful situations?

In a recent study, after 3 weeks of a diet supplemented with Omega 3, the production of mental stress hormones, were significantly reduced by 22% and production of anti-stress hormones up by 12%.

The best natural sources of Omega 3 are oily fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines.

  1. Yes I did know this, but to eat oily fish for me is a different story.

    I can’t stand the flavor and the supplements give me really bad indigestion. Maybe a very low dose would work. I’ll have to try that.

    1. It’s a shame. A lower dose may work though Lisa. It may be worth a try and will be interesting to see how you get on. Good luck!
