Something beautiful

Something inspirational:

“When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold.  They believe that when something’s suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.”

  1. That is so beautiful, back in the old days they used to fill their teeth with gold (my Mom had a gold filling in between her front teeth).

I actually miss that gold filling Mom had as they removed it and filled it with porcelain. I still think she is beautiful!!

    1. Thanks Maria. I am sure your mom is beautiful. Life certainly seemed less complicated back then in many ways.

I emulate my thoughts in exactly the same way with or without the gold filling! We are all beautiful, some more than others because of what and how we deal with things.

Life isn’t about perfection or beauty. It’s skin deep, it’s what comes from within us.
