The way to be

Something inspirational:

“Respect your fellow human being, treat them fairly, disagree with them honestly, enjoy their friendship, explore your thoughts about one another candidly, work together for a common goal and help one another achieve it. No destructive lies. No ridiculous fears. No debilitating anger.”

  1. My Mother always said to us; ‘treat people the way you would like to be treated.’ A good way to think. She was a very wise lady.

    1. It’s a very good way to think Randy but unfortunately even though we would behave like that it’s not to say others will too.

      Your mother was very wise.

  2. Great quote. I also stand by the saying that we should treat others how we expect to be treated.

I have found unfortunately that not all people I deal with abide by the same ethos, especially so in business.

    1. We shouldn’t behave differently in either our personal life or business life. I think we should all be respectful and have integrity. All these qualities should be the same with whoever we’re dealing with.

It really is a shame, I agree with you.

  3. Nice quote. Unfortunately history has proven that the human race is at large, incapable of such civility. There is something wrong at the root of the human animal.

Evil perhaps, but I will not let mean spirited actions of the many, deter me from respecting and loving my fellow human beings.

Bill Bradley’s beautiful quotation are words to live by and some of us do.

    1. When we look back at history Tim you’re absolutely right, but individually it’s not the same. As you rightly say these are the kind of words we should live by and I know some of us do, but more should be encouraged by these kind of quotes.

Unfortunately we cannot change the actions of others, we can only change our own.
