Why we should speak out

A passing thought:

If someone hurts you, or says something unkind, it’s important to speak out. As hard as it is to speak out, it’s even harder to keep your thoughts to ourselves. It may not meet with the other person’s approval, but saying something will make you feel better.

If the other person doesn’t like what we have to say, perhaps their comment shouldn’t have been aired in the first place.

  1. If something upsets you, you should let the other person know, so it can be discussed. People rarely can read each others minds.

    1. You’re right Randy. I do agree, that it’s always worth getting these discussions out into the open.

    1. I am sure you’re not alone Lisa. It’s not easy being assertive, but with a little bit of work it will come.
