Be aware of your feelings, never lose sight of how you feel. Never allow another person’s version of what you feel, get the better of you.
If like me you went through years of feeling guilty for everything you didn’t achieve, perhaps now it’s time to change. It’s never easy living with other people’s decisions, even harder when their decisions leave you with guilt you know wasn’t yours to carry.
If those same people are unable to take responsibility and instead choose to play the blame game, turn every discussion about how you feel into an argument, then perhaps it’s time to walk away.
Life is too short to spend your time with people who do very little for you, except leave you with more stress and where they think you’re the problem.
