Some more thoughts

The weather is miserable and it’s to see why it matches our mood. It will always have an effect on how we feel.

I’m not sure why, but my thoughts go back to when I was a little girl and my grandmother was in her 50’s and for some reason I assumed she would be around me until she was at least in her 70’s or 80’s. Back then wellness was easily achieved, but that doesn’t seem to be the way it works anymore. There are no guarantees to health; it’s something we inevitably have to work on.

I believe illness isn’t just about what we eat. My belief goes beyond that. I believe genetics; mobile phones and masts; geopathic stress, computers; worry; diet and sleep problems also play a their part. When all these come together, they form a very big picture of how illness can set in. These are in fact, the very things that can make us ill.

There are things we can do to protect ourselves so that we limit the consequences of using mobile phones and computers. I use protection on both my computer and mobile phone, so that the potentially harmful effects of the radiation emissions on the body are minimised.

There isn’t a day go by that we shouldn’t be working on ourselves so that we can achieve optimum health on, or as optimum as we can.

  1. You’ve certainly had your fair share of troubles recently, but hopefully as the winter months begin to fade and spring starts to warm up, all of this will fade away too. You tackled these with your usual enthusiasm and dedication.

None of us can take our long term health for granted and it is interesting that you had those sorts of thoughts as a child. Most of us will have been thinking about our grand parents treating us to the sweets our parents wouldn’t give us!

Clearly there were signs then of the budding holistic therapist!

    1. I don’t remember being a child in the true sense of the word. There was a lot going on around me, so it would be inevitable for me, that my thoughts would go far deeper.

      Many thanks for posting today.

  2. Sounds like you had a lot of deep thoughts and still do, even in adulthood. I know that winter can be a very tough time especially when you have a lot of health issues going on.

Hopefully many of those will be resolved for you in the very near future.

    1. Thanks Randy. I think once a deep thinker always a deep thinker! It’s just the way I am. Thank you for your concern of me, I really appreciate it. Many thanks for posting.

  3. I’m sorry you’ve had so much difficulty this winter.

We have been lucky and I don’t know how because of the stress around here. I just have to keep reminding myself that spring is just around the corner.

I believe that a lot of health problems started with the discovery of food processing and preservatives and other chemicals in the food. that’s why we need to eat more organic foods like our grandparents did.

    1. Thanks Lisa. A lot of the problems I refer to in my journal, have stemmed from children being allowed into school when they’re clearly unwell! When we’re constantly around ill people it makes it more difficult for us to stay well.

You are right, of course diet helps keep us well too.
