Berry & Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 cup frozen mixed berries

A handful of fresh spinach leaves

1 tablespoon cacao powder (or cocoa)

1 tablespoon maca powder

1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon dry)

1 teaspoon Flaxeed meal

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

1 whole banana

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Instructions:

Combine the ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth

  1. That does look tasty. I like making smoothies, as they are such a great way to eat lots of fruit.

    I really ought to be make them more often and will definitely try this one.

    1. Thanks… yes, I’m sure there are a lot of people who think the same. We start off with good intentions on lifestyle choices including our diet, then fall short on what we actually do.

      With berries and ginger it’s not only healthy but helps with digestion too.
