Cocoa and Avocado mousse

Cocoa and Avocado mousse

Ingredients:

Cocoa Powder

1 small avocado

1 banana

Dates

Almond milk

Wheat free fruit and oat biscuits blended

A tiny bit of Olive oil

A tiny bit of honey

1 ½ tablespoon of peanut butter

Method:

Blend cocoa, banana, dates and avocado with almond milk and peanut butter

Put it in the fridge

Blend the biscuits in a blender

Heat the olive oil and honey and then mix with the blended biscuits

Squash the mixture into the bottom of the dish to form a biscuit layer

Top with mousse and freeze for half an hour

Serve chilled

  1. That is a nice, simple recipe. Seems really healthy and wheat and dairy free too. Unfortunately I really don’t like avocado.

    1. It’s a lovely recipe. Having tried the recipe myself, once all the ingredients have been added, it’s difficult to taste the avocado, unless you’re not keen on the idea of eating avocado.

      As is often the case with recipes, much of the other flavours take precedent.
