Tofu Noodle Soup

Ingredients:

Oyster Sauce

Fish sauce

Soy sauce

Lime juice

Teaspoon sugar

Fresh ginger

Fresh chilli

Chinese 5 spice

Asian chilli sauce

Tofu

Pak choi

Celery

Prawns

Noodles

Method:

Very finely chop, chilli, ginger and fry in pan

Add chinese 5 spice and celery and fry for a little

Add all sauces, sugar, lime juice, and water, boil and simmer

Separately cook noodles and leave to cool

Chop tofu and pak choi and add to soup pan

Cook for 5 more mins

Add prawns until cooked

Add noodles to bowl and ladle over soup

  1. This looks really yummy and it’s easy to make too. I am sure it’s much healthier to make it yourself, than to get a takeout.

    1. Thank you. Yes, tofu is one of those foods you like or hate, or perhaps hate is too strong a word! Tofu noodle soup I have to say is absolutely delicious (yummy).

      I also like fried tofu and in a soup with other nutritious ingredients, it’s definitely a win, win.
