My Spirituality and Healing Guide

My Book, Cerebral Palsy ‘A Story’ Finding the Calm After the Storm, charts my journey living with a disability I didn’t know I had. It focuses on my thoughts and feelings not knowing I had a disability.

In the book, I use my experiences and lessons to create inspiring messages about mental and physical health, positivity, resilience and change.

My follow on book from my current book is due out in July 2021. It is a guide through my spiritual and healing, dealing with a disability that I didn’t know I had and is different to my first book. It’s a spiritual book with a difference.

Spiritual practices that if incorporated into our lives can become a way of life and will change how we see and live our lives. It allows us to increase our self-awareness, for us to offer ourselves empathy and compassion.

    1. Thank you! Yes, I hope people will pick up my Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ Finding the Calm after the Storm Book.

      I am also really excited to see my ‘spirituality and healing guide book’ out in July and can’t wait. I know that through Brexit and Covid, those have been particularly hard times.

      The last thing we want to do is pick up is a mind/body/spirit self-help book, but truthfully, it is in these times that we need to.

      Mental health has never been so important and my book is ‘a perfect read for covid19’ @Heatherboisseau @RedDoorBooks – instead we run and ignore the inevitable, until we can ignore it no more.

      It is important we take the time to tap into our emotions. When you look after your mental health, your mental health looks after you. I couldn’t have achieved what I have without working on my mental health.

  2. Boy, I feel like I’m really slacking seeing as you’re putting out your second book already. I’ll definitely be buying a copy or 2 once it comes out.

    I gave one copy of your book to my daughter. I’m not quite sure of what her beliefs are, but I know she definitely needs a lot of healing, which this book I am sure will help her to do.

      Truthfully, there is no start or expiration date on writing. But it is easier to continue to write once you start, what is important you let the pen roll and get your feelings and experiences down. Writing is a process, based on our life experiences.

      Growing up, it was never my intention to become a writer, or an author, all I ever wanted to know was what was wrong with me and why I had a bad left foot and a bad leg.

      The process of writing has brought me to this place with my second book. It is my spiritual and healing journey, and a guide, based on my spiritual and healing practices that work for me so I know they can work for others too.

      Having been published in a pandemic is particularly difficult and as my second book is coming out in July that book will also be published in the pandemic too.

      This is precisely the time that people need to be particularly aware of their mental and emotional health and the need to look after their wellbeing. Both of my books are absolutely perfect for these times.
