Reviewing my book

Books need reviews. Without reviews it would be difficult to know how well a book is being received, or whether the book sets out to achieve what it intended. It’s true, everyone can write, but not everyone is a writer. It’s not a new belief or saying.

If it’s a matter of putting pen to paper we can all do that, but there’s an art to writing, getting our thoughts out in a way that entices the reader to keep reading, for them to want to read more. It’s not for us to say we can, it is only when our reviews start coming in that we will know we can.

I am a relatively new author. My book is Cerebral Palsy: A Story ‘Finding the Calm before the Storm.’ I would love to make contact with you, for you to review it, either through one of my social media accounts such as Facebook https://bit.ly/34JKsaG – or Twitter bit.ly/2zbfiNT or through the contact form and I will send you a kindle copy by return.

Below are just some of the reviews, there are more on my website http://bit.ly/36zpLh4 and on Amazon amzn.to/2qrpiy8

King Solomon once lamented that there is nothing new under the sun. The great author, T.S. Eliot, famously wrote, “Good writers borrow, great writers steal.” In the case of this book I believe Ilana Estelle is the exception. ‘Finding the Calm After the Storm’ is not only enlightening; it is an honest to God original piece of work. How often does that come along?

What we have here is a book about cerebral palsy written by a woman who has cerebral palsy. It is her story and much more than just that. She takes us on her daunting journey of self-discovery and on that adventure, we learn principles that can change our own lives, whether we are disabled or not.

This book is a lifeline for anyone who has endured hardship on this great voyage we call life. It is my hope that Ilana’s teachings will help you as much as they have helped me.

Most of us have had certain books in our lifetime that we have returned to over and over again.

Unquestionably, Cerebral Palsy – A Story is destined to become one of those books. Written by Ilana Estelle in a style that is comprehensive and, unlike many books about self-awareness discovery and wisdom that typically include flowery wording and no shortage of fluff, this book, refreshingly, is straight-forward and tells it like it is. Cerebral Palsy – A Story, truly has something for everyone.

Though it is about Ilana’s challenges with her cerebral palsy and autism, it delves far deeper than that into her relationships, life lessons and struggles that ALL of us have experienced at varying degrees. Like your favourite soul mate, lifelong friend, or political favourite who will never quite make it to the top, this insightful book is, simply, good through and through.

Without being preachy, Ilana takes us on her life’s journey, leaving no stone unturned, and includes perfectly placed, potent quotes along the way from notable personalities such as the Dalai Lama, John Lennon, Winston Churchill, Rumi and more.

This is a book you’ll want to loan out to people you care about. May the laws of attraction work their magic; and may this important and inspiring book help bring a greater sense of clarity and balance to everyone who reads it.

This book is a spiritually driven masterpiece. A story of triumph through struggle and pain; I found myself RIVETED on every page. I will reference this book forever.

  1. I have your book sitting in front of me because I reference it from time to time, just as I would any other information source. So for me it’s beyond a mere book.

I’m pretty sure your reviews will be aligned with mine.

    1. Thanks Tim. I love that you have your book sitting in front of you and that you reference it from time to time.

It’s also my go to book. A book that talks to me, shows me the way, explains away my fears. But with all new published books we do need a helping hand. We need others to support us and they can do that by reviewing our work.

Thank you for your review and your loving and endearing support.
