A Book For All Of Us

My website, The CP Diary will be 11 years old, and into my 12th year of writing on the 17th May 2021, and I couldn’t be happier, given the many challenges I have had to face. My biggest achievement is my book Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ having come through my disability with the understanding that I craved as a small child.

Seven years into my blog and putting pen to paper for the first time, my Book Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ Finding the Calm After the Storm is a feel-good factor book, that brings clarity on all of our experiences.

In 2020 when the world came to a standstill and my autism and anxiety took a nosedive, Covid-19 has become my go-to book. Where we may be locked into our conscience, my book can help. Where we have lost the ability to forward-think, or feel enthusiastic, my book can help with that also.

Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ is universal, it relates to everyone, the whole of what we may all have to deal with, which allows us to connect to our higher selves. As you turn each page, I bring understanding and clarity and understanding on how you can approach your lives differently, for you to know that you are not alone.

My Book, part memoir/part motivational guide, is available to buy on Amazon UK http://amzn.to/2qrpiy8 or Amazon.com http://amzn.to/2WPE2Vy and in all good on-line book-stores, including Waterstones and Salts Mill.

Thank you.

  1. Yes, I should try reading your book once again to help me get a better sense of understanding of my issues, which don’t make a lot of sense to anyone, especially myself!

I’ve been stuck for so long, I tend to get stuck in all the ‘what ifs’ about my life and I know that changing the past isn’t possible. I need to change my thinking but that’s not always easy.

    1. Randy, yes, I’ve also been there. I was there for many years and agree it’s not always easy. I know that when we get to the stage where we’re fed up, unhappy and miserable and we want change, change can happen.

Of course, you may not always envisage how far you move on and change, you only see that when you look back, but fundamentally deciding you want to change is a good place to start.

Any work on ourselves takes time and my book is perfect for that. It’s the kind of book that you can tap into, when your mentally out of sorts, you’re looking for motivation, or you want to incorporate change in your life.
