You sit in the stillness. No drama. No chaos. Just You.
And for the longest time, you believed that meant you were healed.
Are you really healed, or just isolated with no one around to trigger you echoes back at you? Or are they there anyway?
There have been no meltdowns, you understand your journey.
You keep yourself grounded – to heal.
After a lifetime of yes, you started to say “no” to things that didn’t fit your needs.
With your boundaries in place, it was your growth.
You've been working on it for years. Your growth was yours.
Your inner child shows up right on cue, to tell you that you are doing good.
So, the question is not are you healed, the question is are you healing? Healing isn't linear.
You understand your life enough not to sweat the small stuff,
The small stuff that at one point was the 'big stuff.'
You no longer choose to carry others' stress.
Time out, on your own, through reflection is healing – it's your comfort zone.
Life is difficult, but in solitude you have chosen to stick with it, not to abandon yourself.
No one can mirror back the parts of themselves that aren't healed – those who choose not to heal. We all have something.
Healing takes place, when you're at your most vulnerable, and there is emotional struggle.
When you hit rock bottom and you feel really ***t. Like you could scream from the rooftops.
With the discomfort, it's easy to do nothing, to run – but instead of running it’s important to stay, to start to heal so that you can feel better.
So, you choose to stay. To feel. To notice. To reflect.
To sit in and tell your truth. Why? Because it's your truth – not something others need or should question. Only for themselves.
You are healing and you're doing it for real. It may take time, but you're choosing to stick with it.
Now the question is are you really healed?
