Life and the universe teaches us the most incredible things, so long as we choose and continue to see the things that are presented to us.

Over the years and looking back, I have learned that even through the darkest times, I have come to see the moments that we're full of promise. That no matter how difficult life seemed, there was always hope the other side of those difficulties. That the physical difficulties I thought was a curse would turn out to be my biggest blessing.

That the most toxic people in my life would teach me such important lessons and that my painful emotional struggles would pave the way for my spiritual growth.  That where it was easy for me to give up, I needed to move forward and that whatever I was dealing with that seemed hopeless, would turn out to be the moment that I would eventually find hope.

The CP Diary has become a beacon of that hope, which started from nothing and which incorporates all these things. We must always hold on to the belief that there is hope. Just never give up.

  1. Beautiful blog. Now that I'm retired, I'm searching for something meaningful to help me justify my existence. It seems that you have found a literary way to justify yours.

    1. Awww thanks Tim. I personally believe that some things are obvious to us, other times not to obvious.

My inspiration behind the diary was a culmination of finding out for the first time that I had Cerebral Palsy and wanting to do something positive. It wasn't premeditated, it just happened. I think sometimes we just have to go with the flow. We can try too hard.

Inspiration often comes when we're not trying to find it. I have every confidence you will find yours.

  2. This blog really is inspiring and a testimony to your positivity and growth since finding out about your Cerebral Palsy.

I suspect it was there all the time, but it just needed unlocking.

    1. Thank you. Yes I have come to understand more since I found out about my Cerebral Palsy; but you're right my positivity and understanding of most things was there before.

It's just taken my writing to unlock my creative side on how I see my life and the world.
