Something inspirational:

“The more clearly we can focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.”

  1. I find this quote quite sad really.

We seem intent on destroying ourselves and our planet, when we should be looking for ways to develop as a race in harmony with our environment instead of the pursuit of so called 'progress,' in its many differing forms.

    1. I quite agree, but were also not working in harmony with the universe or its laws.

The universe will always conspire to work against us, when we work against it. I believe the world would be much better, we'd all be much better, if we understood our behaviour in conjunction with the Universe.

  2. I agree and they do say, 'what goes around comes around' so perhaps we ought to take a little more care of our planet in cognisance that the universe may lose patience with us sooner rather than later.

    1. Yes, the Universe will always act accordingly. We should change so the Universe doesn't have to act.

The problem is people don't see or understand that what happens to us is usually in accordance with the Universe.

They put their bad luck down to just 'bad luck' without thinking it's something they've done that the Universe is asking them to change.

  3. I see people as digressing spiritually, becoming more tribal and less intelligent about purpose. Anything beyond matter and ourselves is either irrelevant or too distant for most people to discern. Our thoughts are mainly limited to the small boxes we live in.

But the most hopeful thing about life is waking up from it and discovering wonders way beyond our veils.

    1. Thanks Tim. It's a hard one, but I believe as a general rule, the human condition is more tribal. We tend to flock and follow the lead, often because we have no choice, until we make that choice and culture has nothing to do with spirituality.

The Universe and spirituality is a way of life that if used daily, helps us evolve and grow as individuals. I believe if we open our minds to what the Universe has to offer, we would come to understand a lot more about life than we believe we're capable of.

We all live in that box you talk about, until we choose to venture out.
