My Book Cerebral Palsy: ‘A Story’ is not only about my experiences and my life, it is my spiritual journey.

I know that what I have shared in the book, will provide you with an insight into your own lives. Although it is not substitute for your own intuition, it will help you to understand and follow your own inner light.

There is no fast track to spiritual evolution and most of us will need some support at some stage on the journey ‘I call life.’ While my book can be read from cover to cover, I also intended for it to be a book that you can call upon when you require help, or you're looking for inspiration and upliftment. In times of stress, it is ‘my go to book.'

Open the book at random and see what you’re given. To have clarity, my book is a support for the many, not just the few. With an open mind, we can all find spiritual answers.

If you fancy reading either of my books, you can grab paperback and Kindle copies on Amazon, or through the following link https://www.thecpdiary.com/my-books

  1. My spiritual journey has been very bizarre and chaotic to put it mildly, but the biggest problem has been following other people's path.

I haven't thought about my own path because I was forced into making other people happy before myself. My thoughts now are, what it is that I really want, which is mostly to feel like I have control over my own life.

I was forced into being completely dependent on others for everything as a child, but now I realize I can take care of my own wants, needs, and desires.

It may require ending up being alone and living like a monk for the rest of my life, which wouldn't be pleasant, but it's what I may end up having to do for my own peace of mind.

    1. Those are good thoughts Randy. Yes, you can take care of your own, wants, needs and desires.

And where our lives may not always work out the way we want initially, (our childhood has a lot to do with that) we do eventually get to choose further on. Nothing innately stays the same.

We must start to be instrumental in our lives, not rely on others and make better choices.

  2. You are necessary Ilana Estelle, because you're the best possible influence to those of us trying to understand and forgive.

Indeed, an extraordinary journey, flying and falling but never giving up. Thanks for letting us ride.

    1. Thanks Tim. Thanks for riding with me. It's lovely that we're taking the journey together.

Yes, holding on to anger and trauma doesn't serve any other purpose, other than to make us ill and that can't work. It is always better to look for understanding on why someone does something than it is to continue to blame.

The original deed doesn't dilute, because we choose not to blame. Those responsible are still responsible, but us letting go, gives us an opportunity to move on with our lives, For us to choose a more spiritual path.

That is what I have chosen to do. Life also works out for us better when we let go. It allows us to start building our lives back up again, in a way that may bring success.

"Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else, you are the one who gets burned - Buddha

It's absolutely true. There is method in my madness, but it works.
