My Book Cerebral Palsy: A Story ‘Finding the Calm After the Storm’ can help you understand your mental health, and your emotional wellbeing.

Now with 5 days to go to the publishing of my second book ‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’, my book, is based on real-life vignettes, around universal understanding on what we may all deal with.

Life seems to go in fits and spurts, but in the pandemic, it’s not like that at all. Like many, I have struggled to comprehend the enormity of the pandemic. We need to question mental health, how we feel, instead of ignoring and it catching up with us.

We tend to look outwards but should look within

Generally, we don’t think about mental health. We tend to look outwards at others, particularly if we feel someone else is responsible for how they're making us feel, but whatever happens, we are responsible for our mental health.

It took me years to realise that I wasn’t feeling any better about myself or my circumstances, but failed to make the correlation that by working on myself and dealing with my mental health, I could and would begin to feel better.

Look at your Mental Health

As I continue to work on my mental health, I hope if others haven’t, they make a start. It’s not as daunting as it feels and accepting there are things you can think about and deal with, is always the first step.

Our belief system is another. Beliefs can either catapult us into a better place, or they can stifle our emotional and spiritual growth, depending on what those beliefs are.

Time to set your SPIRITUAL Compass

It’s time to reset your SPIRITUAL compass, everyday life has never been more challenging than it is today. It’s easy to lose sight of who we are and who we want to be.

‘Spirituality, Healing and Me’ shows you how. Through focusing on values such as understanding, empathy, compassion, tolerance, patience, kindness, and acceptance, you can find your inner calm.
