There is no night without a dawning
No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Our hearts will once more sing…
For those who leave us for a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day.

Sheila,
The absence of your presence has left me feeling lost. I have never felt pain like this before, never experienced life without you, and now that you're gone, I find myself struggling to navigate this new reality. The space that was once filled now feels empty, and desolate. I don't know how to do life without you.
Without you, every aspect of my life has been shattered into countless fragments, as I am left to pick up these broken pieces, with a heavy heart and a sense of uncertainty. In moments of despair, I turn to writing as a means of expression, so that I can find clarity around the chaos of my grief, helping me to fill the void left by your absence, allowing me to put my thoughts and emotions into words.
I know my life on earth will never be the same without you. We were bound together by an unbreakable twin bond and although it is now diminished, I know the connection we shared still endures, albeit in a different form.
Now, on your fist anniversary, as I grapple with the pain of losing you, I hold on to the belief that your spirit continues to watch over me/us. I find comfort in the thought that you are still with me/us in some way, as you offer your love and guidance from beyond.
