Something inspirational:
"The government, which was designed for the people, has got into the hands of the bosses and their employers, the special interests. An invisible empire has been set up above the forms of democracy."
WOODROW WILSON, 1912
Food for thought on Wilson's quote
As far back as the early 1900s, Wilson warned about corporate influence over politics. More than a century later, it’s interesting to reflect on how these concerns still shape conversations about democracy, power, and public trust. Given what we know about politics today, it’s easy to wonder just how much has really changed.
