Something inspirational:

Do you remember a time in your life when you were completely calm? Think about your experiences and how it made you feel. Take a trip down memory lane so that you remember all the details.

What happened to make you feel calm? Who was in your life at that time? Are those people around you today? Try to re-live this calm experience.

Remember all that you can do is bring calm back into your life now. Capture those moments and stay calm once more.

  1. For me now it doesn't happen. It will in the future but for right now it is what it is.

That was a very different time and place with people that supported me. These people have either moved away now or have died. They cannot be replaced.

    1. I know exactly what you mean. I believe calm comes from within us.

Sometimes we have to work on ourselves to bring about calm, regardless of whose supporting us, particularly if those people around us don't always give us the right support. Thanks for posting Randy.

  2. I was on a cruise with my husband. The ocean always brings me calmness. I totally relax and have no pain or fatigue when we're on cruises and it's just us.

If I need to I will go back in my mind to a cruise and imagine the ocean sounds and feelings.

It's so peaceful for me to be on the ocean.

    1. Sounds good Lisa. The only problem is that away from the cruise, although you can go back and imagine all those sounds you talk about, our realities sometimes stop us from tapping into that. Meditation could help.
