The week is going quickly and surgery day is nearly here. Remarkably I seem to be feeling okay about my surgery on Friday.

I have got to the stage where I’m fed up of having to deal with another cyst and want it gone. I can’t say I am happy to have the injection, but it’s got to the stage where I need all of this behind me.

I still have my eye infection that’s not cleared up and although my doctor insists it's a cyst, I think it feels more like a sty. I've been treating myself with homeopathy, but that hasn't worked and given that I’ve had an infection for two weeks now, you'd think something out of what I have been taking, would have worked by now.

I have always been slow to heal, part of the Cerebral Palsy scenario. Sadly, that much is true, but I am now back on another make of eye drop, which is supposed to be good. I’ll have to wait and see. I am still hopeful the problem will go away soon.

As for Friday, I hope that I can at least put that behind me and look to a new beginning. These last few months have been hard, but I’m still prepared for Friday with renewed optimism.
