As someone who is spiritual, I have never made anyone believe what I believe, or judge someone for what they believe. It’s simply not my way.

We grow and evolve

As individuals we grow, and we evolve. Who we are today is not who we will be tomorrow, or who we were yesterday. We all have a soul and every soul has a spirit. It is important for the soul to have spiritual awareness, knowledge and insight.

Spirituality

Spirituality paves the way for us to understand how life works and what our lessons are. For those who judge, they do so because they are less aware of their spiritual path and values.

We may spend a lifetime forming judgments. But where our beliefs are an interpretation of our experiences, they may never be right for anyone else. Judgments are based on beliefs and beliefs are based on individual perceptions.

It's wrong to judge

Because we all see our experiences differently, it would be wrong for us to act as judge and jury on other people’s opinions. If through a conversation someone is happy to believe what we’re telling them, then our beliefs and judgments will be accepted.

It is not for us to try to convert anyone else to believe what we believe, or for anyone else to convert or judge us back.

  1. I believe that it really doesn't do any good for us to judge people, since we usually don't know the whole story.

I grew up in a very judgmental world and it didn't do any more than serve to keep me apart from the rest of the world.

I'm trying to do things differently now so my life will turn out much better.

    1. You're right, some of us don't always know the full story and yet we're quick to judge or offer an opinion which comes across as being judgmental.

When we're being judged all the time it tends to have a tendency to shy away from the people who are judging us.

I am pleased you are trying to work things out now for yourself so that your life is different from the world you grew up in.

  2. I have my beliefs and they are strong. I had someone once tell me that God would not help me. I think that is my belief and not theirs to judge.

I agree with you. We shouldn't judge others and also we shouldn't think that our belief is the only way.

    1. Agreed. It is not for us to judge or be judged, whether it's a judgment based on an opinion to do with our beliefs or something else.

  3. I think that people being open and tolerant of other people's spirituality is important.

My parents are two different religions and they never made my sister or I chose one over another. I think it's important people have their own take on things and decide for themselves what they feel is right for them.
