Yes, playing with other people's feelings is bad news. It can cause the relationship to die and may even set the other person over the edge. We don't know what others think or feel. We should be considerate of others. Even joking around can cause damage.
I've been on the receiving line several times and it's not fun. I felt humiliated and very sad, especially when I was a teenager. Being a teen was a very tough time for me. I already felt like I had no friends and I was made fun of so many times.
I tried to kill myself once but someone found me before I could finish the job. Know one really know what they're doing to others when they poke fun at them!
So sorry to hear that Lisa. I totally agree with you, no one really knows what people go through emotionally.
Playing with other people's feelings in some cases may tip them over the edge, if they're really not coping. As you say we should be more considerate and leave well alone.
Luckily I have never done this, I always try to put myself in the other person's shoes. Basically if I don't like it, my thought is that someone else won't like it either.

We never know other people's stories.
You will probably lose that person for a lifetime, and you may also reap what you sow.
I agree on both your points Tim. You're absolutely right.
It is cruel to do this. NEVER EVER DO THIS!!
I agree Randy.

Thanks Maria. You're totally right not to. I like your thinking.
I agree completely and Tim makes a particularly good point. Such things do have a habit of coming back to us.
I agree with both you and Tim. Yes things do have a way of coming back to us. What goes around comes around as they say.
