Something inspirational:

"A failure is not always a mistake, it may simply be the best one can do under the circumstances. The real mistake is to stop trying."

  1. I like this quote. People should embrace failure and not see it as a lack of success. I agree it isn’t fun, but it is an opportunity to learn, reflect and hopefully not make the same mistake again.

Giving up, on the other hand, teaches us nothing.

    1. Thank you. As you say, 'but it is an opportunity to learn, reflect and hopefully not make the same mistake again.'

If more of us took your attitude we would be better off. We not only give up too easily on what we've failed at, but we give up too easily on ourselves too.

There is always a lesson to come from failing and as you say it's a time to reflect and learn.

  2. It's easy to give up when things don't go as planned. It's the people that keep on trying that figure out a way to succeed.

That's usually how we learn, making choices is a way to do over mistakes of the past.

    1. You're absolutely right Maria, it is the people that keep trying that figure out a way to succeed. As you say though, it's how we learn. It's easy to become despondent and just give up, but that gets us nowhere.

Making new choices helps us overcome mistakes of the past.
