Something inspirational:

“Never complain, never explain. Resist the temptation to defend yourself or make excuses.”

BRIAN TRACY

There comes a point where you stop exhausting yourself trying to make everyone understand you. You stop over-justifying, defending your personality, or shrinking yourself to avoid criticism.

The people who truly care about you won't need a constant explanation from you. And the people determined to misunderstand you probably never will.

There is peace in simply being yourself without feeling the need to have to constantly defend yourself.
