Something inspirational:

"Fear, to a great extent, is born of a story we tell ourselves. And so I chose to tell myself a different story."

  1. An invisible fear made me hide behind a protective barrier within myself some years ago, but time cured all that.

Now everything is familiar, like I'm looking down on it all; looking down on the human jungle.

    1. Thanks Tim. I absolutely love your response. I believe they call it spiritual growth. I love, love, love this.

It's not always obvious to us, but others see it in us, if they know what to look out for.

  2. I agree. I'm on a quest to break down my own personal barriers, so I can live again without the anxiety and fear controlling me.

Getting better but every now and again I don't want to leave my house! Thank you for posting this wonderful reminder.

    1. You're welcome Bonnie. I go back to the what we deal with and can't help but think with our emotions and confidence in our boots, it's not surprising we feel we can't move.

I have learned, not just through my site, but working on myself that I have nothing to fear. That I can do as others do, in some respects potentially better.

I believe we all can. It's a belief system that for some of us over time, makes us lose confidence in ourselves, even more.

  3. I agree we can confront our fears, or let them consume us. As I've gotten older and wiser, I've chosen the former.

    1. Yes, it's always good to choose to confront our fears. That way they stay small. Since our coping strategies having everything to do with childhood, it's important to make sure that even without the best start or childhood, we continue to work on ourselves.

I have also chosen to continue to confront mine. I'm not sure I'd be in a position to do what I do with the site, if I hadn't have chosen to confront my own issues.
